Restless
The weekends flew by juz as usual, with little time and rest to myself... Stayed in hostel till sat, and by the time i got home, i had hardly any time to rest as i had to set out to Tampines HQ to attend the post-ndp appreciation celebration and receive my NDP2004 Certificate of Appreciation...
The best part is up next as i manage to get hold of a NUS arts bash ticket held at Newsroom Bar thanx to shan shan and sk... Yeah, finally can get to chiong to relieve my stressful life!! The music is ok lah, with pop and rock at first, a bit of retro, and its R&B and hip hop for the rest of the night.. For the first half of the night, the rock and retro music is so enticing but i somehow ended up looking after liling's handbag, with all their handphones and valuables inside no less... u noe how weird it is to see a guy with a handbag walking around right?!?! Luckily there is the arsenal-norwich match to keep mi entertained until they came back.. But too bad, by the time we all went back to the dance floor, the music was not appealing to mi... sorry shan shan, but mambo rulez!! Btw, i met quite a no. of people, one secondary school classmate, four army camp mates, two NTU friends and even befriend a PTI who happens to be Robin's, my roommate, camp mate... The world is so small... I feel like standing on top of the world.. do i sound drunk to u..?!?!
Luckily liling's og friend/PTI drove us back, save the taxi fare, haha!! Walk liling to her doorstep, den proceed to walk all the way home as usual.. liling so funny, keep hoping tat her mum would not catch her for returning home so late... It was already 4 plus when i reached home, and i haf to wake up at 8am to go play some basketball and soccer wif my aj classmates... Maybe i should change my title of this blog to "Rest-less" .....

Stressed
Finally we all have settled down to the daily routine of going lectures and rushing tutorials but that is only the beginning.. Interblock games are still actively carrying on and trainings are inevitable.. My thighs still hurt and my foot blisters keep on appearing after numerous soccer sessions.. I could stay at home and rest, but the opportunity cost is high, considering the experience and tactics i learned during those sessions..
Now comes the lodging issues.. To be able to stay in my hall with all the wonderful people, i need to earn cca points which can come from limited sources, interblock games, joining main committees, sub-committees, etc.. These few nights had been rather stressful due to the various interviews for those people trying their luck for these committees... There seem to be hundreds of main comms and sub-comms positions available but i somehow juz can't get into any of them...well, at least for the first round of the hall sub-comms.. So now, i'm praying hard and crossing my fingers...
And eh, this whole week will be fulled of interviews, so i haf to apologise to shan shan and sk that they haf to miss my voice for this thurs as my opportunity cost of going to the ktv is juz too high... I need the points.. Do i sound desperate or wat?!?! By the way, for those who haf absolute no idea about economics, the opportunity cost of an activity is the value of the next-best alternative that must be forgone in order to undertake the activity... Econs sux.. Woh !!!!

Exercise
Finally, it's my first time that amid my busy schedule, i am able to exercise and get my sweat out of my body, get those muscles moving once again!!!
The sports scene is amazing.. It is as if i have stepped into the mythical Greece and many breathtaking competitions of the Olympics are being shown 'live' before my eyes.. Ok, i am exaggerating a bit but there are so many activities going on at the same time, so many people playing their hearts out, which makes me even more excited.. Soccer, track and field, softball, basketball, roller-blading, tennis, badminton, hockey, gym etc, how i wish i am well versed in everyone of them, cos there are so many much much better and experienced players around who can really improve my standards.. So jack aka tripitakashimaya, any luck finding your badminton kakis?
Play some badminton wif my highly skilled hall mates and ran 4km after tat.. not much but quite strenuous and exhausting for me since i have not been exercising for months.. The sports culture is so marvellous, think i am gonna enjoy my stay here, despite my ever-present foot blisters and my aching body...
Can someone pass me the Tiger Palm muscle rub... please... now...?

Bee
Feels like a bee myself on friday... busy flying among flowers, or rather places, nipping nectar here and there... OK, to cut the boring introduction short, I actually tried my best on the past weekend to show up for all of my appointments, which had not turn out to be what i expected..
Friday nite was sure fun.. ktv!!! one of my favourite hobbies.. but there are juz too many people, waiting at the queue, hogging the mike, sorry if i offend anyone, but i believe a second round next time will do justice for all music lovers!! anyone interested??
The chalet stay was short-lived.. at least for mi.. The most i do at the chalet was onli 3/4 mahjong round, watch replay of NDP and an hour of swimming.. I forgo the bicycle ride with the rest of the guys as i need to go home and get changed for the Hall Ball..
Hall Ball was enjoyable.. superb food, marvellous performance by the pageant contestants, memorable video clips, hilarious hosting, and the best part is at the end when camera lights flashed non-stop as our jaws are stiffened from too much smiling.. And did i tell u that my room is gonna be the second pantry cos i won a microwave from the lucky draw!!
And the night is spent at Manadrin hotel where i can at least watch a EPL match, yeah!! Actually i planned to go back to the chalet, but there r so many things and factors combined, eg clothes, timing, location... In the end, i returned to the chalet in my formal attire first thing in the morning, but the damage was already done and the activities were already over the previous night..
Even when i was returning home, i could hear sk, shan shan and liling complaining all the way through the east-west line.. Sk and shan shan had the right to b pissed off as they contribute their parts to make this event possible and so i need to apologise to them and the rest of B4 that i failed to stay with them on the second night.. Think no one miss mi.. Think no one even remembers mi.. My name isn't mentioned anywhere.. not even in blogs.. or comments..
Time for the busy bee to stop buzzing around and start to return to his nest, back to his lonely self and of cos, more tutorials.. (I didn't know bees do tutorials too..)

Busier
I have never been so busy in my life -- yet, as i keep on filling up my handy NTU personal organizer with more and more "to-do-things"..
NDP was a great success.. haf a lot of fun, learn a lot of things, know a lot of frenz.. and of cos there is the upcoming chalet to continue the fun!! Activity noted down on organizer.. However, there is a make-up lecture on sat morning and i'm still wondering whether i should go for it as i will be staying overnite at the chalet.. Question mark noted down on the organizer.. And eh, there is this Hall Ball thing on sat 7pm which clashes with my chalet stay too!! Exclamation mark noted down on the organizer.. Not to mention that the bloody Hall Ball ticket burnt a $48 hole in my pocket.. So can anyone advise me what to do ?!?!?!
Today help one of my hostel mates assemble her computer, feeling quite proud until i got to know that zhiwei aka quantize had manage to help his fren configure laptop.. My computer literacy can never surpass my two 大师兄 -- zhiwei and jack.. they are 神!! Haha, i really haf to thank them for their unselfish help whenever my computer fails me.. salute!!
Man, i'm so glad i haf my personal organizer..

Endless
Finally I have reached yet another end of one hectic week and it feels like stopping at a traffic light junction after travelling through PIE, or CTE, or watever expressway.
No time to stop for a breather, I plough my way through endless lectures and tutorials, and its normal to us, according to my physics lecturer, that we will be so busy that we do not have our own time.. Man, I now realise that I have fallen into the great pacific ocean of knowledge, trying to keep alive from the drowning words and formulas.. Nevertheless, i will remain positive and try to learn as much as possible, in the meantime enjoy myself with the company of new found friends!!
The weekends have arrived, but time will pass like a bullet train for me because there will be tons of things waiting for me; make-up lecture, training, soccer, outing dinner and last but not least, never-ending tutorials...
And guess what, before you know it, the green light is back on, and its time for the fast & the furious!!!
